[AD] 5 Great Toys for Summer!

With Summer on the horizon (hopefully!) I thought it would be a good time to share some great summer toys.

  1.  Last year Lily got much use out of her Little Tykes Playhouse.  It has been everything from a shop where we can buy real ice creams to a library to her house where her and the dolls live.  She absolutely loves it.
  2. The Little Tykes Water Table is another favourite; perfect for splashy fun on a warm/hot day.  Our one has lots of balls that you can put through the top and they spin round before splashing out at the bottom – Lily loves watching the balls drop.  It also has things you can spin about and move.  It is a great toy for summer fun.
  3. The Baby Born Carrier Sling has fast become one of Lily’s favourite toys.  She loves playing Mum and taking her little “MeMe” out and about with her.  The sling means that, quite like any parent who uses a sling, Lily has both hands free.  Lily likes that she can have her doll close to her so that she can play with her whenever she wants but she doesn’t have to worry about dropping her when she isn’t playing with her.
  4. Yeti In My Spaghetti game is another one I recommend for summer.  Its really lightweight & portable & it is very easy to play.  It would make a great game to take outside and play on a picnic blanket.  It can also be played inside on a rainy day.  The rules are really easy to follow.  You just get out the bowl, lay the spaghetti over the top in a random fashion and then pop the little yeti on top.  The aim of the game is the pull out a piece of spaghetti without the Yeti falling.  Lily enjoys playing this game and it was really quick and easy for her to understand (she is 3 – very nearly 4).
  5. Another great toy for summer is the Baby Annabell Learn To Swim Doll.  We were lucky enough to be invited to a very special swimming lesson with Rebecca Adlington as part of the launch of this doll.  Lily cannot wait to be able to take Baby Annabell into the paddling pool with her this summer.Lily on side of pool with Rebecca Adlington and Baby Annabell Learns to Swim Doll
