[AD] Baby Born Little Sister Mermaid Review

Those of you who have been following my blog for a while will know what a huge doll fan Lily is. You will also know that she has several Baby Born Dolls which she is very attached to!

When Lily saw an advert for the Baby Born Little Sister Mermaid the first thing she said was “Mummy, can you put that on my Christmas List please”. Lily didn’t realise at the time that I had already been sent the press release and one was already in the post for us to review!

The Baby Born Little Sister Mermaid comes with a sparkly turquoise comb and a pink crown. The doll is fully submergible and makes a great bath toy; she even swims in water. The swimming element requires 3 x AAA batteries – these are not included so make sure you grab these at the same time as the doll to avoid disappointment.

Lily loves the fact that this doll is fully submergible as well as the fact that the mermaid floats and the mermaid fin at the bottom of the doll moves in the water helping the doll to slowly swim. Lily loves this feature.

Although Lily enjoys playing with this in the bath, I know she will get the best use out of it in the summer in the paddling pool as she will sit in there for much longer!

Lily has played with the doll lots out of the water too so although it swims and is water proof I would consider those points to be a bonus rather than the main feature as Lily really enjoys playing with the doll when dry – she does everything from style the dolls hair, pretend to feed her and wash her and generally treat her like a baby!

Disclosure: We were sent the Baby Born Little Sister Mermaid Doll free in exchange for an honest review.
