The Grand Preview of Two New Rides at Peppa Pig World

The Grand Preview of Two New Rides at Peppa Pig World

We visited Paultons Park last year and ever since Lily has been asking to go back. We were invited this weekend to go and try out two new rides that are opening soon at Peppa Pig World; given the amazing day we had last time we went, we jumped at the chance. The two new rides will open to the public on 16th May 2018. We stayed overnight in Southampton so that we were up and ready to get to get to the park at 10am for opening time. We had a very excited Lily who wait to go on…

Sunday Lunch at Down Hall Hotel – Review

Sunday Lunch at Down Hall Hotel – Review

We were recently invited to Down Hall Hotel to review their three course Sunday lunch Menu and the new terrace. Down Hall is set in an area of outstanding beauty; surrounded by 110 acres of Hertfordshire Park land and woodland. As we drove through the gates and up the long sweeping drive that houses a lake, trees & wildlife we realised that we had arrived somewhere very private, very relaxing and very special. At the top of the sweeping driveway we were greeted by a grand & impressive historical mansion. The building itself dates back 1322 and and its use…

5 Great Toys for Summer!

5 Great Toys for Summer!

With Summer on the horizon (hopefully!) I thought it would be a good time to share some great summer toys.  Last year Lily got much use out of her Little Tykes Playhouse.  It has been everything from a shop where we can buy real ice creams to a library to her house where her and the dolls live.  She absolutely loves it. The Little Tykes Water Table is another favourite; perfect for splashy fun on a warm/hot day.  Our one has lots of balls that you can put through the top and they spin round before splashing out at the…

Willows Farm Easter Eggstravaganza Review

Willows Farm Easter Eggstravaganza Review

We were recently invited along to Willows Activity Farm near St Albans, Herts to review their Easter Eggstravaganza.  We are already huge Willows Farm fans and had such an incredible time at the Willows Farm Santa Spectacular that we really couldn’t wait to go and see what fun they had in store for Easter. Our day started with watching a cow milking demonstration.  It was really informative and presented in a very fun way.  At the end of the demonstration the presenters showed the children the milk they had collected.  Lily’s reaction  priceless; she said “I wouldn’t drink that milk,…

Paradise Wildlife Park – World of Dinosaurs Review

Paradise Wildlife Park – World of Dinosaurs Review

Paradise Wildlife Park has always been such a huge part of my life – I spent most of my days in the Summer School Holidays when I was 16; those old enough will remember the live animal shows hey used to do. My favourite was always the one where the parrots would roller skate! Paradise Wildlife Park has been a huge part of Lily’s life so far too. She has had many a play date there and has also celebrated all three of her birthdays there! It is lovely to have somewhere just down the road where we can see…
