I have spent a long time looking for the perfect Summer Waterproof Jacket. I have bought a few over the years but tended not to wear them because either they felt like they were made of plastic and really made me feel hot and sticky just blew backwards and kept falling off in the wind (no matter how much I tightened it around my face. I ended up just getting wet or using an umbrella. The problem with the umbrella was that I either lost them, forgot to take them out or took it out and then tried juggling an umbrella and pushing the pram and just gave up throwing it under the pram and resigning myself to the fact that I would get drenched. When Trespass contacted me to ask me to review a Summer Waterproof Jacket I jumped at the chance!
I browsed their website and it took me a long time to narrow down my choices as there were some amazing jackets and I was nearly swayed by one of the 3 in 1 Jackets (essentially a waterproof outer layer & fleece inner layer that can be worn alone or combined for ultimate warmth). Then I saw the Seawater Women’s Waterproof Jacket and I knew instantly that it was the one for me. I loved the colour and the style; it looked like it would look really stylish with jeans rather than just be a casual jacket. Delivery was really quick and I started wearing the coat everyday; I am sure those of you who follow my blog have already spotted the Summer Waterproof Jacket as it featured in our day out at Forty Hall. The Seawater Summer Waterproof Jacket is so comfortable; I have hardly left the house without it since I received it. I was caught in the rain last week and this Jacket kept me completely dry up top thanks to the 3,000mm worth of waterproof protection.
As a mum I tend to have lots of things to carry around at one time and this Jacket has plenty of handy pockets for storage.
Disclosure: I was provided this Jacket free of charge for review purposes; in no way has this influenced my opinion.
